Sid Gumbrell, who runs Clean Cuts Barber Shop, in Guildford in Surrey, is hosting the event from 09:00 BST to 17:00 on Sunday. Children will also be able to pick up free stationery, pencil cases and water bottles.

"To be honest, I know the struggles with the cost of things at the moment," Mr Gumbrell said. "School uniforms, shoes, haircuts, etc, it all adds up and if we can just help take one cost away it's a massive deal for us. "He said the event was aimed at bringing children together while helping families with the cost of living.
