The Details
The driver was treated for injuries from glass in his arm and hand. United Airlines said in a statement it would "conduct a rigorous flight safety investigation into the incident and our crew has been removed from service as part of this process".
Their maintenance team is evaluating the damage to the plane, the statement added. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has sent an investigator and ordered United Airlines to provide the cockpit voice recorder and flight data recorder.
