Critical developments are emerging from the global agenda. Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi spoke about the efforts being made regarding stray animals, stating, "There are two fundamental aspects to this initiative. Stray animals cannot always find food, and when they fall ill, they are deprived of access to medical care.
"The legislature introduced this regulation so that we can collect these animals from the streets; this way, our streets will become safer, and our municipalities can care for them in a closed, comfortable facility, providing treatment, vaccinations, and food, as well as conducting adoption efforts," he explained. ŞANLIURFA Through comprehensive efforts led by the Governor’s Office in Şanlıurfa, 27,960 stray animals were collected across the province and taken to shelters, and sterilization procedures were completed for 3,374 animals.
