Walmart’s Onn brand just launched a whole line of budget-friendly Android tablets that, all together, cost less in total than a single iPad Pro.
As spotted by 9to5Google, the six new tablets ship with Android 16 and all but one cost less than $200. The little Onn Core 7 is the most affordable of the bunch at just $97, which gets you a 7-inch 1040 x 600 IPS LCD display, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage that’s expandable with a microSD card, and, according to Walmart, up to 10 hours of battery life. 1 / 3The Onn Pro includes a folio case and stylus.

Image: WalmartA step above that are two larger Core tablets. 1 costs $138 and includes an 8. 1-inch 1524 x 1000 IPS LCD display, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage (also expandable with microSD), and up to 15 hours of battery life.
The Core 11 for $167 is a bit bigger, similar to a base iPad, featuring an 11-inch 1840 x 1280 IPS LCD display, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage that’s expandable with a micoSD slot, and up to 17 hours of battery life. There are also two affordable kids’ tablets available in 8-inch and 11-inch sizes for $118 and $136, respectively. The priciest of the new tablets is the Onn Pro, which costs $288 and includes a 13.
2-inch 2400 x 1600 IPS LCD display, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and an unnamed 2. 6GHz MediaTek processor. Unlike the iPad Pro it’s imitating, it also includes a folio case and a stylus.
This advance offers important signals about the future of the sector, and the tech world is watching closely.
